Highlighs of Area01

  • Area 1 won several awards for performance in the previous year.
  • KRTLC 86 won the COM for the most promising circle and also the COM for best publicity.
  • Cr. Mala Bala of TLC33 won the best floor circler award.
  • Distinguished service award for Tr. Sq leg B.V Ramanan was a proud moment for Area 1.
  • 14th of January saw the birth of a new vibrant circle in Area 1, TLC –103.
  • Cr. Vandana Dushyanth of MLC 8 attended the TTT at Coimbatore.
  • Circlers of Trichur, Trivandrum, Madurai and Kottayam attended Mid Term meet at Cochin in good numbers.
  • Circlers along with the Tablers of Trichur presented a “mad ad “skit for the midterm meet which one the first place.
  • Cr. Neena of LC 22 and Cr. Rani of LC 103 won the 1st and runner up prizes for the area level LC idol singing competition respectively.
  • Circlers of Trichy and Madurai attended area sports meet at Nagercoil.
  • Area magazine Southern star was published with a good number of articles from the circlers and ladies of area 1.This turned out to be a medium to express and cover the national events of the year as well.
  • Tsunami project applied has to be withdrawn owing to the inadequacies of damaged schools in the areas of Nagercoil, Kollam and Alappuzha.
  • Circlers participated enthusiastically in all the area initiatives, like the area blog, the car rally, area treck and the mid term meet at Cochin.
  • Area 1 has the maximum number of LMF’s and brick wall donors.
