PMLC53 – Dec 22nd we gave the 2nd dose of Hep B vaccination at the Mukhbadhir Ashram.
ALC64 – Vice Chair person Meena and Cr.Aditi had distributed 300 new clothes to Anganwadi and Colour, Pichkari to Balwadi.Children enjoyed it very much.
On 29th Mrach Cr. Aditi distributed Chocolates, Fruites and new Clothes at Balwadi.
SLC72 – The second phase of Hepatitis B vaccine was successfully done on 24th December at Uttar Bunyadi Ashram Shala, a school for the adivasi children. It was the joint project of SRT 135 & SLC 72.
Same day 200 inmates of Leprosy home were treated to somosas.
40 bedsheets were donated at Old Age home.
Clothes were distributed to the patients at Civil Hospital. Biscuits also given.
BLC76 -. Hepatitis B vaccination—2nd dose was administered to children in December.
SMLC102 - Second Hepatitis-B Vac.Camp Completed.
BLOOD CAMP was organized on the International WOMEN’S DAY . It was the first all ladies camp done in Surat on WOMEN’S DAY.18 units were collected
UNDER E TO E
BWLC10 – Future plan to provide to sponsor 2 ‘specially challenge’ children and few musical instruments or chemical lab. Instruments to Bal Govind School.
NLC50 -.Total project cost of 2.5 Lacs. Construction of 2 class rooms at Bapu Shikshan Sanstha for the villagers children.
BLC56 - A Christmas party was organized for the kids at the balwadi on 25th Dec.06.
Teaching aids: Shapely crown,square pyramids,beads,form boards ,puzzles , were distributed. Sweets,toffees cake, lovely home prepared veg pulao was distributed to the kids.
Also took the Balwadi kids for a day picnic with lots of food games and bus arranged for their safety.
SLC72 - On 25th Jan. ’07 at ‘Shruti’ school for the mentally challenged children, three sets of 2.5 dozen books were given.
Future Plan - the toilet block project at Uttar Bunyadi Ashram Shala, an adivasi school at Variav.
SMLC102 - Donated Walk-Way and learning instruments for the Physically - Mentally Challenged Children of "SNEH AAGAN".
FELLOWSHIP
BWLC10 – A couple of fantastic socials.
‘Makar Sankranti’ – for kite flying we tablers, circlers and twinklers met at one og the Circlers place and she treated all to some sumptuous Gujarati meal.
All met at ‘The Club’ to see the World cup between Australia and India. Great fun.
Participation in the Mumbai Marathon by few of our circlers and twinklers.
PMLC53 – We had a football shootout game with the wives of the table 144 on the 4th of Feb. Valentine party was a funfilled event and few great socials.
BLC56 – Cr Sheela mehta’ s BLC10—pre holi nite bash was well attended by all circlers of BLC56,as
colourful as ever. Participation in the Mumbai marathon by few circlers too.
Participated in helping the BRT2 for their fundraising. Other many parties and socials were held.
LC64 – Uttarayan was celebrated. Tablers, Circlers and Twinklers enjoyed the kite flying.It was good fellowship.
Holi-Circlers, Tablers, Twinklers and AHRT Families played with colours and water.
Women’s Day - was celebrated. Circlers and AHRT wives enjoyed it very much.
SLC72 – Christmas Party, ‘Uttrayan’, Birthday Parties, Anniversaries, Valentine Party all done as great fellowships with families.
BLC76 –Christmas party, Lohri celebrations. Uttarayan celebrations, Holi celebrations and LCI charter day ann. Celebration.
PLC81 – Tablers and circlers got together for the screening of the movie “Kabul Express” and “Namaste London”
Valentine and Holi party were organized. Other table circle also participated.
PHLC101 – New year party organised. On 11th March, a joint social by PRT 15 and PHRT 182. was well attended by our circlers.
SMLC102 – VALENTINE DAY Dine & Dance Couple Party Organised as a Fund Raiser . Participation of 70 couples.
FUND RAISING
BWLC10 - On 28th Jan, Joint fundraising with BWRT6 by selling play tickets of ‘Chankyashastra’. Accounts to be finalized. Approx. Rs. 30,000+ will come to the circle funds.
Rs. 8000/- out of greeting card sales.
PMLC53 - 13th and 14th of jan we did a fundraise. A play called ' On Vaccation' by Mahrukh Bharucha with PMRT 65, our Table. Jointly we managed to collect Rs 6 lacs from ticket sales ad donations. The funds will go towards the 2nd phase of the school building of SSVMS.
ALC64 - BPA IDOL (Blind People IDOL) on 7th January at Atlas Auditorium Vastrapur Lake. Vastrapur Lake is prime location of Ahmedabad city. Large no. of people and all blind people from BPA present in that event. Many well-known personalities were present. On 8th January Radio Mirchi invited that finalists. It had given one hour to the finalists to perform on radio.
