JANUARY
TO DO

  • Attend the Nat.AGM in good numbers.
  • Prepare accounts for half year ending 31st December.
  • Review half yearly activities and plan for second half.
  • Plan to celebrate Ladies Circle International Day[ feb 11th]
  • Send feed back on the 1st issue of Rendezvous to the Nat. Editor.
  • Send Friendship Mail to any circle in Area 6.
  • Suggested project 12th Jan: National Youth Day: Vocation / Career Counseling for young adults in Schools
  • Suggested project 26th Jan: India’s Republic Day: Sit and Draw Competition on topics related to this special day and explain what it means to the children.

EVENTS

  • LC India Nat. AGM on 10th , 11th & 12th.
  • The “Most  Colourful Circle” for the quarter will be announced.

  • 3rd NEX Board Meeting & 2nd Trust & Finance Meeting of LC India on 10th January.

FEBRUARY
TO DO

  • Send articles for second issue of Rendezvous.
  • Celebrate LCI Charter Day.
  • Participate and meet with the participants on the Mass Tour to India.
  • Participate in MTM’s.
  • Ensure that Project Completion Report if any is sent.
  • Plan for LC India Charter Day [March 17th]
  • Send Friendship Mail to any circle in Area 7.
  • Suggested project 28th Feb: National Science Day: A trip to a science museum or ask Twinklers to conduct easy experiments in Schools for underprivileged.

EVENTS

  • Mass Tour for International Circlers hosted by LC India.
  • LCI Charter Day[feb 11th]

MARCH
TO DO

  • Celebrate LC India Charter Day [March 17th]
  • Matters for discussion at 4th Board Meeting.[ Last date 31st March]
  • Send out notice calling for nominations for circle office bearers and fix election meeting to elect office bearers for the coming year.
  • Send Friendship Mail to any circle in Area 8.
  • Suggested project 8th March: International Women’s day: Breast Cancer awareness, Talk on menstrual hygiene or begin to educate one woman  
  • Suggested project 15th March: World Disabled Day: organize Talent Show / Carnival in Challenged children’s school or Vocational Centre.

  • LC India Charter Day [March 17th]

APRIL/MAY
TO DO

  • Directory information and incoming chairpersons photograph to be sent to the secretariat.
  • Start collecting outstanding , clearing all outstanding payments.
  • Send Friendship Mail to any circle in Area 9.
  • Suggested project 7th April: World Health Day: A talk on dental health (or any other health related topic) and then hold a quiz for all children attending the talk give out toffees or biscuits for correct answers.
  • Suggested project 2nd Sunday of May: Mother’s Day: Story Telling Session illustrating moral values – can make it interactive and distribute a small gift to all coming up with a nice story or identifying the moral of the story.

  • National Summer Camp for Twinklers & Circlers.
  • Outbound Adventure Camp for Twinklers along with Families, Organised by CPSLC 46

JUNE
TO DO

  • Fix the date for your circle AGM.
  • Start compiling this year’s activities for your circle AGM.
  • Arrange circle meeting to pass all reports and accounts.
  • Circulate notice for AGM.
  • Prepare Annual Report in the standard format adopted.
  • Send the AGM Notice 21 days before the date of AGM.
  • Send Friendship Mail to any circle in Area 10.
  • Suggested project 5th June: World Environment Day: Get Anti Pollution, Anti Plastic posters made by school children or Twinklers and put up in your locality.

  • Register for the COB.
  • Send greetings to all circles for their AGM’s.

GENERAL INFOS

  • APS & RJSS applications will be received throughout the year.
  • The details of all projects, fellowships & other events planned will be updated constantly through newsletters and website.
  • Support Supply House.
  • The publicity brochure printed shall be sent to all circlers.
  • The fresh guidelines to avail Foundation Funding circulated in the August Newsletter should be followed strictly.
  • A CD for publicity is being made which shall be sent to all chairpersons.
  • A project manual has also been released which will be sent to all circles.
  • Send write ups & photographs of your fellowship events to the Nat. Fellowship Convenor for E-mag “POTPOURRI” & “Most  Colourful Circle” recognition throughout the year.
  • Suggested Projects-These projects are just ideas for projects. None of them are A MUST DO.
