What children need most are the
essentials that grandparents provide in
abundance. They give unconditional love,
kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons
in life. And, most importantly, chocolates
and toffees
The Grand Parent's Day was celebrated on
the 16th of September at Middleton Chambers
along with the CPRT 34. The 250 th meeting
of CPLC 46 was also the same day.
All the dada-dadi , nana-nais were
present to grace the occasion. Cr.Mona
(National President) was present as the
chief guest of the event.
It began with a power point presentation
of the grandparents photos and the message
that the twinklers wanted to convey to the
elders. Then an audio-visual presentation
was given by Circler Vishu and Tabler Anunay
outlining the activities of last year and
achievements of the tables. The compere of
the show were Harmeet and Daman who put up a
hilarious act, entertaining every body.
The show then started which had the
twinklers doing mini comedy act, poetry
auditions and dances by tablers on old songs
and the twinklers showing their moves on the
remixed version of the same song. There were
participative games involving the Grand
Parents and enjoyed by all. The show ended
with a group song by all the tablers and
circlers while the littlest of the twinklers
did a fashion show and enjoyed themselves on
the stage.
