Salem Ladies Circle 28

The 9th meeting theme was Back to School. Back To School meeting was kept at T.M.S.Hall. The Circlers were asked to come in School Uniforms. All the circlers came in the uniforms. Some of the Students (circlers) came in Chudithar Uniforms, some came in Pinoforms, some came in Sports Uniforms. All were wearing socks and shoes. Students (Circlers) came in two plats. Students (circlers) brought snacks boxes, water bottles and school bags with them. The Hall was arranged like a classroom.

The students (circlers) drank the juices from their bottles for the toast. The students (circlers) exchanged their snacks in the snacks break. Before the meeting started, the School bell ranged. Honorary Cr. Lakshmi was our Class teacher. Our other Hon Circlers also came in uniforms. A perfect silence was maintained in the Class Hours (sorry….. in the Meeting). All the students (circlers) stood and told good Morning to the Madam. As in the School days, many of them came late to the meeting. The sergeant fined the students (circlers) for those who came late.

The meeting was fully fun filled. The students (circlers) really enjoyed a lot. The theme gave a good opportunity for the Circlers to go back to their School Days and Naughtiness. All the circlers brought tastyyyyyyyy tastyyyyyyyy snacks. Some of the snacks were Macroni salads, Yummy Potato fry (especially the school kids like a lot …. B’cos they were not under diet), Chips, Puffs, etc.,

The Honorary Circlers were really looked like school students. So the Hon. Circler who was very naughty in the class hours (meeting) hours was rewarded instead of punishing. The Hon circler brought a very good snack, which make all the others not to concentrate in the class (meeting). So she was rewarded for the “Best Snacky”. The Circler who was really perfect with her convenor time was rewarded for “Out standing” award. This circler was punished for chating in the class hours (meeting), so the Class leader (Chairperson) made the student to stand up on the bench. Even for that performance she won the “out standing student award”.
“Active Student” award – Hon Cr.Munira
“Best Snacky Student” award – Hon Cr. Brinda
“Outstanding Student” award – Cr. Sangeetha

These were some of the awards given to our XI Std students of SLC28

The circlers & tablers had a gala time at Tr Venkys farm house. Excellent lunch organized by Cr Snigda. After some beer & bites We had Teacher Priya mam our sports incharge blowing a whistle And getting some order. Yes we’d readied the games field with chuna et’al. The students quiet overgrown I must say were not in bad form. Other than some odd mishaps everyone had a blast. The winners won chilled cans of beer. Quite motivating.
