When our Chairperson Cr. Uma gave a call
to me and told that she wants to have
the “VIGBYOR” theme in our next meeting,
I was breaking my head on watodo… A
little later she called me with a
beautiful idea. Cr.
Arati helped her in the preparatory
work.
It was on 22nd September we met at Hotel
“Checkers” at about 9.00 pm for our 2nd
meeting of the year. A big bag was kept
open in front of our table. Once all of
us arrived Cr.Uma opened the bag. It was
full of glass bangles. We started
arranging those like a rainbow with 2
bangles of each colour. There was a big
hullabaloo…hey I want one yellow… my
green is missing… hey where is indigo?….
Finally we arranged everything and wore
those bangles and posed like
models…believe me there were so many
innovative ideas coming out how to pose
with the hands so that it is visible n
attractive. It looked like a rainbow in
all our hands.
No matter what costume we were in.
…Jean, …skirts...Capri’s…. We did wear
those dozen + bangles the whole of the
meeting.
Now it is in my bangle stand…whenever I
see that I ll remember about the
fellowship we had on account of “VIGBYOR”.
The true appreciation goes to two people
Cr. Shilpa Gupta for a marvelous theme
and to our CP Cr. Uma for executing it
in a creative way.

Socials are great occasions of
fellowship, knowing your circlers and
their families in their true and best
colors. Colors if they are VIBGYOR are
vibrant and attractive in true depiction
of the heart and soul of socials.
The first social of the circling and
tabling year 2007-2008 was truly
portraying its meaning in the VIBGYOR
colors.
Taking care to put up with the theme of
the quarter, all the tablers, circlers,
twinklers and square legs were dressed
up in the VIBGYOR attire. Each circler
turned up in the allotted color (from
Vibgyor) and the tablers were in the
blue color of the sky.
It was as if rainbow seen in the clear
blue sky. Hosted by Sumit and Richa, the
BHATNGAR’s Farm was a picturesque locale
at the banks of river Mahi.
The party started with the warm welcome
from the entire BHATNAGAR clan. It was a
special occasion as we were celebrating
41ers day-10th of August , each of our
founding father were honored by bunch of
flower ,a self made card by Twinklers
and a huge cake with shape of 41 was cut
by all pioneers. The programme was
followed by a cultural event by the
twinkler which included sholka recital,
songs and dance. The color full evening
ended with a fun, frolic and gaiety and
a lovely dinner.
It was all indeed a great start in
coloring lives

Potluck dinner was organized on the 22nd
September at Hon Cr. Namita’s residence.
Theme for the meet was “Colors of
Rainbow”, and all had come in the
VIBGYOR colors. Excellent dishes were
made and all of them had their bellies
extended. This evening was even more
enjoyable because of the cricket match
between India and the Australia, where
Team India won. We organized games for
all the children and had lots of “masti”.

Last
Sunday, the 2nd of September 2006, we
had our socials with the theme Colours
of the Rainbow – VIBGYOR. Hats off to
the hosts Cr. Nanthini and H. Tr.
Manivannan, for the excellent venue
arrangements. The meet was held in their
farm house. They took great pains to
decorate the venue with the colours of
the rainbow. The meeting was held under
the shade of the coconut trees, with an
enclosure made by tying cloth of
different colours of the rainbow. A
beautiful rangoli was made in the
middle, commemorating the theme. All the
circlers had come dressed in the colours
of the rainbow (two circlers for each of
the colours). This was not all. Seven of
the Circlers landed up with sweets, each
representing a colour in the Rainbow.
To
add vigour to the colours, we also had
two inductions to our Circle during the
meet.
Raipur Ladies Circle – 90
All
the colours of rainbow was splashed at
the VIBGYOR Navratri meeting held at Cr.
Somya Sethi’s residence. All the
Circlers and Twinklers had dressed up
according to the occasion and it was
wonderful to see everyone dressed making
the ambiance multi coloured. Twinkler
Sakshi Sethi – Cr. Somya Sethi’s
daughter had drawn a very perfect and
apt rangoli specifically for our Vigbyor
navratri meeting. Cr. Bijal Pithalia had
kept an exhibition of navratri dresses
and accessories. And everyone made use
of this opportunity to feel free to
shop.
We
had a very wonderful meeting and
everyone enjoyed the presentation
organized by Cr. Somya. The guest
speaker for the presentation was Mr.
Dinesh Jotwani – whose presentation was
based on the book – “Who moved my
Cheese”. Cr. Bijal Pithalia won the
prize for the Best Dressed Circler with
colourful accessories. Area III
